You have refinanced 3 times and still owe 30 years on your house. Your only bank does not send you a statement at the end of the year since you made less than $10 interest. You use your exercise equipment only as a clothes drying rack. You have 4 unopened versions of a software package. You think the Great Commission is the amount your broker charges you.

Think of an unexpected expense of $50 as a ‘catastrophic financial loss’. Your family takes a pool as to when the phone will get cut off this month. You have a computer but no electricity to run it. You look to Atlantic City as your retirement plan. After expenses, the fish you caught last year really cost you $735 per pound.

When you take the film out of your $400 camera, you have to wait until payday to get it developed. You buy a $30K car but then have to worry about gas mileage. Your library or video rental fines are more than the original cost of the book or video you rented. During peak electrical usage times in your community, the electric company calls you personally and asks if you could cut back some.
